I am sitting here watching a documentary on this country's addiction to credit cards and I am just amazed at how easily people are lured into turning to easy credit and consuming things they don't have the money for over investing in themselves and starting their own business of some type for extra money. I definitely have been guilty of this myself so I don't stand in judgment I am just amazed at the mentality we've all been brainwashed into accepting. Now in terms of jobs, people are also brainwashed into a employee mentality. Thinking their only source of income is to "sell" their labor to someone who did take the time to invest in themselves and start a business.
We need a radical transformation in this country to wake people up to the fact that they can:
1. Start a business to give them selves both job security and extra income.
2. Start a business to be able to spend more time with their families and even volunteer to help their communities.
We need to radically change our nation's values and faith in good old fashioned entrepreneurship and creativity.
